How the Plan Works
Life Insurance provides income protection to you or your family in the event of the death of a covered individual. Children’s provides all eligible employees with Basic Life Insurance that provides one year’s salary to your beneficiary, at no cost to you. You can also purchase Supplemental Life Insurance for you, your spouse and your children. All Life Insurance plans are carried through The Hartford Life Insurance. See the Life Insurance/AD&D Summary Plan Description (SPD) under Resources at the left for more detailed information.
