Fitness Center Memberships Incentives
All Children’s employees can enroll at any of these centers at any time during the year and receive a $10 monthly Fitness Incentive to help with the monthly fees.* In addition, some of the facilities offer special discounts for Children's employees as outlined below. Fitness Incentives are paid on the last payroll of the month, starting the month after your membership is reported from the club. No retroactive Fitness Incentives are payable. Only one monthly Fitness Incentive will be paid per employee.

Verandah Club
Show your Children's badge when you visit the club to join. You will receive a discount on initiation fees and monthly membership dues. For an individual membership, your discounted initiation fee is $50 and the monthly dues are $61 (plus tax). For a couples membership, your discounted initiation fee is $75 and the monthly dues are $86 (plus tax). Ask your Verandah membership adviser to flag your account as a Children’s Medical Center employee. The Verandah Club will add your name to the membership roster to start your Children’s monthly $10 Fitness Incentive.
24 Hour Fitness®
You can join any 24 Hour Fitness club in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. To view the 24 Hour Fitness program details or enroll, visit the Children’s 24 Hour Fitness portal (see Contacts at the left) and enter the corporate discount code 100295. Once you know the details, you can either enroll online or visit a club location. Just visit your local club and show them your Children's badge. Ask your 24 Hour Fitness membership adviser to flag your account as a Children’s Medical Center employee. Then, 24 Hour Fitness will add your name to the membership roster to start your Children’s monthly $10 Fitness Incentive. You can also add family members at discounted rates.
When you join 24 Hour Fitness, you will pay no initial processing fee, and monthly fees for you and your family will be discounted. All classes are included in the monthly dues at no additional charge. Kid's Club childcare is available at most centers.
YMCA
You can join any YMCA branch in Dallas, Arlington or Fort Worth.
When you show your Children’s badge, you will pay no joiner fee for individual or family memberships. This saves you $50–$100 for individuals or $95–$150 for families. Ask your YMCA membership adviser to flag your account as a Children’s Medical Center employee. The YMCA will add your name to the membership roster to start your Children’s monthly $10 Fitness Incentive.
Life Time Fitness
Just show your Children’s badge when you join any Life Time Fitness in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and ask your membership adviser to add you to the Partners List as a Children’s Medical Center employee. Life Time Fitness will add your name to the membership roster to start your Children’s monthly $10 Fitness Incentive.
*IRS regulations require that your incentive be considered taxable income.
Only memberships in the four contracted facilities listed above (in red) qualify for the $10 per month Fitness Incentive.
Discounts at Other Fitness Centers
In addition to the above contracted fitness facilities, Children’s employees can receive discounts on various other gym memberships (such as Curves, Bally and Gold’s Gym) through the Children’s Employee Discount Program.
