How It Works

Children’s Medical Center employees are eligible for membership in the Metro Medical Credit Union (MMCU). Being a member of MMCU affords Children’s employees access to many benefits like higher dividend rates on savings products and lower interest rates on loan products. Members also enjoy many FEE-FREE services such as MARTIN, the 24-hour telephone banking service, free notary services and access to discounted rates on car and homeowners’ insurance products. Children’s Dallas employees who join MMCU have access to a full credit union branch within walking distance, located in Support Services, Bldg. B of Parkland Hospital. MMCU members can also use the ATMs at Parkland with absolutely NO fees as long as they use an MMCU ATM/debit card. For more information on MMCU, see Contacts and Resources at the left.
