How the Program Works

Sittercity is a quick and easy way to get help at home when you need it. If your schedule changes or a sitter falls through, go online and find a local, qualified Sittercity caregiver. This benefit is available to all Children’s employees, and the online membership is completely free to you!

Sittercity offers:

• Dog walkers and pet sitters.
• Infant and young childcare.
• Care for an aging loved one.
• Housekeepers.
• Tutors.
• Help when you have extended or unusual work hours.
• Care when traveling for work.

Cost

The cost of the online membership is paid by Children’s. With this benefit, you are in the driver's seat. When you arrange for in-home help through Sittercity, you are responsible for negotiating a reasonable rate that fits within your budget. You are then responsible to pay the negotiated cost for the care or help provided.

Caregivers and Other Household Help

Worried about bringing a stranger into your home? Sittercity’s website allows you to view over a million local caregivers’ profiles, including pictures, reviews, qualifications, references, background checks and more! Sittercity can help you find a caregiver or household helper for your long-term or short-term needs. You get to decide who you want to interview and who fits your family’s needs. Since you have direct access to the caregiver, once you have an established relationship, you can continue to hire them for your ongoing needs.
